January 26, 2014 - 3-Gun Workshop

3T’s 3 Gun Workshop is a one-day course designed with both the competition and self-defense shooter in mind.   Students will receive three hours of instruction each weapon -  pistol, shotgun, and carbine.

  1. Fundamentals of Marksmanship

  2. Combat and Tactical Reloads / Slug change overs (shotgun)

  3. Malfunction Clearing

  4. Multiple Threat Engagement

  5. Use of Cover and Concealment

  6. Shooting While Moving


Required Equipment

  • A quality pistol, AR or AK platform carbine, and a 12 or 20 gauge shotgun.  Shotgun can be semi-auto or pump action.
    If you are interested in this class but do not have all three weapons, don’t let that stop you.  Please contact us – we have weapons available for rent.

  • A minimum of two magazines for both the pistol and carbine and the ability to carry at least one magazine for each weapon on your body.

  • A quality holster is required.  Duty type or kydex holsters are strongly recommended.  *** Note:  Inside The Waistband (IWB) holsters are not permitted. ***

  • The ability to have at least 5 rounds at your disposal for reloading the shotgun.  This can be accomplished either by the use of a side saddle or a spare ammunition source worn on your body.  Side saddles are recommended.

  • 150 rounds of ammunition for each weapon.  For the shotgun, ammunition breakdown is the following:  125 rounds of bird shot, 15 rounds of rifled slug, 10 rounds of 00 buckshot.

  • Eye and ear protection.

  • Tactical gloves are very strongly recommended.  If you do not have tactical gloves, baseball batting gloves work very well.

  • Clothing appropriate for weather conditions

In accordance with ITAR regulations, only United States citizens will be accepted into 3T classes.

All classes end with a night shoot on day 1.  The class hour vary upon time of year.  You will be notified of the class hours specific to your class approximately 2 weeks before the class. Range locations are subject to change.


  • Any customer who has registered for a course, or has made a down payment on a course, can cancel their registration or down payment and receive a full refund if 3T is contacted no less than 60 days prior to the start of the course.
  • If a customer cannot attend a course they have registered for, and there are less than 30 days before the start of the course, the customer will be allowed to reschedule for any of the same courses remaining on the schedule.  Even if the class the customer chooses to reschedule to is full, the customer will be allowed to attend that class. 
  • If 3T must cancel a course all customers who have signed up for, or made a down payment for, the cancelled course have two options to choose from:
  1. Customers can receive a 100% refund.
  2. Customers can reschedule to a later course of their choice.  Customers who choose this option will be compensated with a gift certificate good for one free day of training, redeemable at any 3T class of their choice.  Even if a course is full, the customer will be allowed to attend the course they choose. The gift certificate can be used to attend a 1 day course free of charge, to receive a 50% discount on any 2 day course, or to receive a 33% discount on any 3 day course.
